About Jimmy Born and raised in Louisiana, early life was average and life was good at that point. Things turned for the worse in high school however. I began hanging with the wrong crowd and after awhile began taking various types of drugs. I dropped out of high school and was wasting away every night partying. Before you know it I was sitting behind bars for six days charged with simple criminal damage. After that point I wish I could say I did a complete 180 with my life, however that wasn't the case. I did change a few things like going out and getting a job. My family ended up moving to Tennessee while I stayed in Louisiana majority of the time. Every now and then I'd go to Tennessee and spend two or three months at a time until returning back to Louisiana to waste away more of my life. I was eventually stuck in Tennessee due to some unusual circumstances. I disliked Tennessee with a passion at that point, so you could imagine my level of happiness with the situation. It wasn't until I went back and visited Louisiana and seen someone I haven't seen in awhile that I realized the direction my life had taken thus far. Since that turning point in my life, I've studied quite a bit of personal development. Some of what I've researched has worked and other bits I have found has just been completely and utterly useless. Thats why I began this website. Some things work for some people and for other people it won't work. For that fact alone I will dig deep into all alternative ways to go about things so that everyone can benefit. I'll also list along the way whats personally worked for me and why it worked. I can't stress enough about how much more wonderful my life is now that I have began my journey to self improvement. I continue down that path even to this day. I hope that both myself and you as the reader can both learn and grow through this website. |
